There are various subsidies for facade insulation
When installing facade insulation in Flanders, Brussels and Belgium in general, there are various premiums available that can significantly lighten your investment. Here is an overview so that you can quickly see which premiums you are entitled to.
- Flanders: This premium combines former energy premiums and offers up to 35% return on the investment, depending on the energy savings achieved.

- Belgium: Depending on the number of improvements made, this bonus can range from €625 to €4,750.
- Conditions: The more energy-saving measures you combine, the higher the bonus.
- Belgium : Amounts vary depending on the energy label achieved after renovation, with premiums of up to €5,000.
- Conditions : The premium depends on the energy label that your home achieves after the renovation.
- Belgium : For homes older than 10 years that are insulated, a reduced VAT rate of 6% applies instead of 21%.
- Conditions : The house must be older than 10 years and the insulation work must meet certain technical requirements.

Premium conditions for Flanders, Brussels & Wallonia
- Flemish Region: To be eligible for a premium, you must use a facade insulation system with a minimum thickness of 10 cm (λ-value 0.032 W/mK) to achieve an R-value of at least 3.00 m²K/W. More information via www.mijnverbouwpremie.be
- Brussels Capital Region: Here, a facade insulation thickness of at least 12 cm is required (with λ-value 0.032 W/mK) to achieve the minimum R-value of 3.50 m²K/W. More information via www.renolution.brussels
- Walloon Region: In Wallonia, a required R-value of at least 3.50 m²K/W also applies, which usually corresponds to an insulation thickness of 12 cm with a λ-value of 0.032 W/mK. More information via energie.wallonie.be
